The hydrogen market is entering a stage of rapid development and is forecast to account for up to 20% of final global energy demand by 2050. The government of British Columbia has recognized hydrogen’s potential to decarbonize, committing its support to growing this industry over the next decade. As a result, we are experiencing a surge of enquiries and we’re looking to expand our team.

As Project Management and Technology Consultants, our mission is to identify opportunities to integrate renewable energy systems with reliable energy storage, based on green hydrogen. Our role is to help clients explore project concepts, conduct feasibility studies, and represent them through the progressive phases of project implementation. We take a full systems approach, considering how end-use of energy supports the creation of jobs and business opportunities in the zero emissions economy.

We are seeing growing interest in developing climate resilient projects here in our province and are anticipating involvement in projects that demand diverse skillsets and creative, committed people.

Careers in renewable hydrogen and complementary systems will call for diverse backgrounds such as mechanical (static and rotating), electrical, instrumentation & controls, along with project management and project controls experience. If you would like to get involved or to understand how your experience might be relevant to our company, please send your CV to info@thorhydrogen.com with a brief outline of your motivations. We invite inquiries from all backgrounds and experience levels.

Based in Kimberley BC, we are focused on developing projects in our local Kootenay region but are also consulting on projects outside the province. Candidates from locations in Western Canada are preferred and opportunities for remote working are possible. We are open to flexible ‘Associate’ relationships with part time commitments.
